DIY Halloween Chalkboard Art
As Halloween approaches next week, I thought my kitchen could use a little holiday spirit makeover. I found this awesome chalkboard frame at Kirklands last night that I just couldn't pass up. So of course I went to Pinterest for some Pinspiration. This was my first attempt at chalkboard art, definitely not as easy as it looks. That's the glory of chalk though, easy to clean up your mistakes. So here it is in all it's spooktacular glory!

Girls Don't Cry, They Get Even!!
With the holidays behind us it's time to look forward. What's next you ask? We'll for some it's that dreaded V word..........dun dun dun VALENTINES day! For the happy in love, this day is filled with flowers, chocolates, jewelry, or a cute little puppy wearing a diamond necklace with a note that says "I love you Sugar Dumpling", blah blah blah!
Nobody wants to admit it, but sometimes, it sucks to be alone on Valentines. So I came up with this little idea for all you single gals out there. Throw yourself an Anti-Vday Party and make Valentines Voodoo Cookie Dolls!!
What You Need
- Gather up your single friends (if there are any left)
- A bottle of wine (or five)
- Sugar cookie mix
- A gingerbread man cookie cutter
- Decorative icing (I think red, black and white look best but you can be creative and use whatever colors you like)
- Toothpicks
It's simple, fun and delicious! When you are done eating them you can wash it down with a cup of your tears!! :) Just kidding!! Happy Valentines Day everyone!

DIY Wedding Christmas Ornament
Ever wonder what to do with those extra wedding invitations you have from your big day? Instead of keeping them in a box under the bed collecting dust, put them on display with this easy DIY tutorial.
All you need is a clear Christmas ornament, your wedding invitation, a pair of scissors, and some glitter or sequins.
This is such a great idea for gifting! You can even use birth announcements, party invitations, etc.....
If the wedding was a beach wedding you could also put little shells and sand instead of the glitter.
It's a keepsake you will have for years to come!!
Happy crafting!!

Melted Snowman Cookies
Tis the season for baking cookies!! I saw these online and had to try them! They were so easy to do and were a hit at my annual Holiday Sweater Party!!
What you need.......
-sugar cookie mix
-white cookie icing (Wilton)
-large marshmallows
-cookie decorating supplies (be creative!)
Whip up the sugar cookies like normal and bake! When they come out of the oven let them cool. Then apply the icing so that it does not cover the entire cookie. Squish a big fat marshmallow for the head and then decorate away!!! So much fun and everybody loves them!! An easy project for kids on a snowy day too!!
