Cheap and Easy DIY Magnets

Most of the projects I do are with stuff I have lying around the house and this is one that is so quick and easy to do and you really don't have to spend that much money!

Supplies you will need:
  • Glue (I used ModPodge but any clear drying glue should work
  • Decorative paper/pictures/magazine cutouts etc...
  • Flat clear marbles (found at any craft store)
  • Craft magnets (small enough to fit the back of the marble)
  • Scissors

  1. Find the paper with the design you want to use.
  2. Glue your marbles to the paper FLAT SIDE DOWN, design facing up. Make sure they are spread far enough apart so you can cut between them. (some people trace the marble to the paper and cut it out first but I have found that it's easier gluing them then cutting them)
  3. Allow enough time for the marbles to dry to the paper, now carefully cut around the marbles, close enough so that you cant see the paper edges from the front of the marble.
  4. Glue on magnet to back and let dry.
  5. Hang them on the fridge and you are DONE!!
Told you it was easy!! Happy Crafting!
